Ready to work in the healthcare field? Gain hands-on learning in a field that is a high-priority occupation in Pennsylvania. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that demand for medical assistants will grow by 15% through 2033. Perform clinical tasks while working in a variety of healthcare settings, including private practices, hospitals, outpatient clinics, and long-term care facilities. Make a difference while learning in a small classroom setting through hands-on training. This program prepares students to sit for the NHA Clinical Medical Assistant Certification. Classes are held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 pm- 9 pm at STC North Campus, located at 101 Technology Drive, Frackville.  Offered in January and July.

Next class starts January 5, 2027, and concludes December 23, 2027. The application deadline is December 8, 2026.

•  Pay the $40 non-refundable admissions fee.  Please note that failure to pay the fee will result in not being placed on the roster.
• Unless you are applying for the Practical Nursing program, please select “Not applying for the LPN program” under the “TEAS Test Date Requested”  dropbox.
• Hit Submit.
• We will confirm your acceptance via email and share information on the next steps, including how to apply for Financial Aid.
