Medical Assisting

Ready to work in the healthcare field? Gain hands on learning in a field that is a High Priority Occupation in Pennsylvania. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that demand by Medical Assistants will grow by 15% through 2033. Perform clinical tasks while working in a variety of healthcare settings, including private practices, hospitals, outpatient clinics, and long-term care facilities. Make a difference while learning in a small classroom setting through hands on training. This program prepares students to sit for the NHA Clinical Medical Assistant Certification. Classes held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 pm- 9 pm at STC North Campus located at 101 Technology Drive, Frackville. There is also 3 hours of virtual instruction. Offered in January and July.
Next class starts July 7, 2026 and concludes June 24, 2027. Deadline to apply is June 15th.

- We will confirm your acceptance via email and share information on the next steps including how to apply for Financial Aid.
