CDL Training
Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Training
Instructor: Mr. Bill Picht
With a Class A CDL (160 hours of training) or Class B CDL (140 hours of training), you will be able to drive multiple types of large vehicles including tractor-trailers, tanker vehicles, buses, dump trucks and more. The variation of different vehicles allows more opportunities to work for different types of hauling, freight, and other commercial vehicle dependent companies. Small class size. Day and Evening Classes available.
Now is the time to take the first step! A driver shortage means companies are actively looking for qualified men and women over the age of 18 and you will find yourself with a long list of available career opportunities once your training is completed. Trucking companies are offering more incentives than ever before, including tuition reimbursement, sign-on bonuses, dedicated runs, and wage increases. Don't wait another moment to make the open road your office!
Watch our video in the “About” section on our website to hear firsthand about the experience our students had while here at STC.

What It Means to Be a PennDOT-Certified Third-Party Testing Center
STC is held to the same high standards as any Pennsylvania DMV. As a certified testing center, all of our examiners are required to be PennDOT certified, meaning they are up to date with all of the latest rules of the road, as well as the newest testing requirements. Additionally, all of the routes used during the driver’s exam are PennDOT approved, which means that each route has the same requirements and that all Pennsylvania drivers will be tested on the same skills.
